Welcome

“Learning to Live Life to the Full” (John 10:10),

Brockington is a caring and forward-looking community where staff and students learn to live well together. We want every child to flourish academically, spiritually, in their talents, and through the development of their character.

While this website gives you a glimpse of our values and opportunities, the best way to experience Brockington is to see it in action. I would be delighted to welcome you personally for a tour, so you can meet our staff and students and get a real sense of what makes our school special. Please do get in touch to arrange a visit.

As we approach the Easter season and reflect on the themes of new life and hope that it brings, we are once again beginning our annual collection of Easter Eggs 💙

We will be collecting donations up until the Easter break, at which point they will be delivered to the charity Rachel's Table, a small local charity dedicated to helping homeless and vulnerable families across Leicester and Leicestershire. Rachel from Rachel’s Table was delighted when we offered to run the collection again this year. She expressed how deeply appreciative both the charity and the families are for the generosity shown by Brockington families.

If you would like to contribute, please send donations in with your child or drop them off at school reception by Thursday 26 March 2026.

Our Ethos & Values

At Brockington College, our mission “learning to live life to the full” shapes everything we do. Guided by our eight Christian values, we aim to create a caring, respectful community where students grow in character, develop their potential, and learn to make a positive difference in the world.

Compassion

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." (Matthew 9:36)

Forgiveness

"Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

Justice

"Turn your back on evil, work for the good and don’t quit. God loves this kind of thing, never turns away from his friends." (Psalms 37:27-28)

Koinonia

"So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind." (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

Learning

"Wise men and women are always learning, always listening for fresh insights." (Proverbs 18:15)

Perseverance

"Never get tired of doing good." (2 Thessalonians 3:13)

Respect

"Respect the authorities, whatever their level; they are God’s emissaries for keeping order... Treat everyone you meet with dignity." (1 Peter 2:17)

Wisdom

"Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!" (Proverbs 4:6-7)
