Welcome

Welcome to Brockington College

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to our website and introduce you to our school community.

Brockington College is a forward-looking and inclusive Church of England Academy. At the heart of everything we do is our mission statement: “learning to live life to the full” (John 10:10). We want every child to flourish academically, spiritually, in their talents, and through the development of their character.

While this website gives you a glimpse of our values and opportunities, the best way to experience Brockington is to see it in action. I would be delighted to welcome you personally for a tour, so you can meet our staff and students and get a real sense of what makes our school special. Please do get in touch to arrange a visit.

Our Ethos & Values

At Brockington College, our mission “learning to live life to the full” shapes everything we do. Guided by our eight Christian values, we aim to create a caring, respectful community where students grow in character, develop their potential, and learn to make a positive difference in the world.

Compassion

"When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd." (Matthew 9:36)

Forgiveness

"Forgive one another as quickly and thoroughly as God in Christ forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32)

Justice

"Turn your back on evil, work for the good and don’t quit. God loves this kind of thing, never turns away from his friends." (Psalms 37:27-28)

Koinonia

"So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind." (1 Thessalonians 5:11)

Learning

"Wise men and women are always learning, always listening for fresh insights." (Proverbs 18:15)

Perseverance

"Never get tired of doing good." (2 Thessalonians 3:13)

Respect

"Respect the authorities, whatever their level; they are God’s emissaries for keeping order... Treat everyone you meet with dignity." (1 Peter 2:17)

Wisdom

"Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you. Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do!" (Proverbs 4:6-7)
